COVID-19
We are open. To ensure we can meet your needs, please make an appointment prior to arrival, and we'll do our best to make your visit as smooth as possible.
At a time like this, your health and the health of your family rightly takes priority over all else, and I wanted to take a moment to walk you through the steps we’ve taken at McCarroll’s Automotive to ensure the well-being of our customers, and of our team, is at the centre of all we do.
This is something we take incredibly seriously, and our commitment to ensuring we are following absolute best practice in this unprecedented time has led us to implement the following important changes as we continue to support your mobility during the coronavirus pandemic.
Health & Safety Action Plan
Health and Safety Officers
Health and Safety Officers have been assigned to all dealerships and service centres to ensure the best standard of cleanliness and health safety practices are upheld by our team.
Sanitisation Plan
To ensure optimal cleanliness of our dealerships, all high-traffic areas are sanitised multiple times a day, in addition to professional cleaning every evening. To support the health of our guests and our team, our Health and Safety Officers have ensured hand-sanitiser dispensers are present throughout our dealerships, and that essential items supporting excellent hygiene are fully stocked at all times.
Our Team
We are following the guidelines issued by the government relating to travel and self-isolation across our team to provide the safest environment possible. In addition, we have requested our team inform us of any contact they may have with people subject to these guidelines, and we've asked them to remain at home if they feel unwell.
Service Loan, demonstrator and display vehicle preparation
All hard and soft surfaces inside our service loan, demonstrator and display vehicles are cleaned after usage to ensure optimal hygienic condition.
Preparation of your vehicle during servicing
When your vehicle is in for servicing it will be fitted with a steering wheel cover and seat protector prior to the commencement of work. In addition, all technicians are required to wear disposable gloves while working on your vehicle. Once work is complete, your vehicle will be wiped down with sanitising agents to ensure it is returned to you in optimal hygienic condition.
Discontinuation of Shared Foods
All unsealed complimentary and shared food, such as fruit and baked goods, have been temporarily removed from our café areas in all dealerships and service centres.
Out-of-Dealership Services
We understand that your needs may change during this uncertain time, and we will continue to evolve our service to best support your mobility.
Should you be looking to minimise personal contact, we encourage you to set an appointment to minimise waiting times. Equally, should you be uncomfortable visiting the dealership, do not hesitate to take advantage of our Out of Dealership Services including:
Pick up and drop off service for your vehicle for its regular maintenance where available
Personal test drive or vehicle demonstrations at your home or a suitable location of your choice
Virtual vehicle demonstrations hosted by one of our product specialists are available upon request
Our website provides updates on our complete package of services, opening hours and any operational changes we may adopt during this period
These are just the first steps in our journey to providing you with experiences that better support your well being when interacting with us. Our commitment to you is that we will continue to evolve the services we provide in line with your personal needs as the situation in Australia continues to change.
In closing, we’d like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones the very best during this challenging time. Please stay safe, and take care of each other.
We truly appreciate your continued support of our business and our team.
